The doctors and the staff of Star Medical Centre are experienced groups. Your doctors are listed with the Queensland University Medical School for medical student GP term placements. Your highly motivated doctors are able to teach and train medical students and provide an opportunity to spread their ethos beyond the immediate community. Their significant range of GP practices and extensive aged-care services allows the community and patients to become the centre of the highest possible quality of care and for the continued development of medical training and practice.
Supervision & Striving for Improvement
They have also supervised and trained non-vocational GPs. Together with the GPs, we have built considerable systematic in-house protocols and procedures to facilitate the training of non-vocational GPs. This allows for extremely well qualified doctors who were trained overseas to obtain the rigorous qualifications required to practice in Australia. We are also one of the listed medical training practices for GP registrars from CSQTC (Central and Southern Qld Training Consortium).
